Responsibilities of the Business Analyst:
- Ability to identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in groups of data
- Use statistical techniques to analyze data and provide reports
- Develop and manage tracking spreadsheets for multiple data collection efforts
- Gather data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
- Work with project management to prioritize business and information needs
- Support the research and accounting departments
- Develop multi-year budget spreadsheets
Requirements of the Business Analyst:
- BS in Business, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics
- Strong capability with Excel spreadsheets and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets, such as SPSS, SAS, Stata, R, or Python
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Candidates must be comfortable in a team environment and be able to multitask.
