National Outreach Manager
Location: Lakewood, CO
Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000/year
Rocky Mountain College of Art Design is seeking a National Outreach Manager on our beautiful, historic campus in Lakewood, CO. This individual will manage the outreach process for the institution to ensure compliance, sustainable growth, and departmental efficiency. Provide leadership in the utilization of business and artificial intelligence, data analytics, and information systems to support the development and implementation of the recruitment plan.

Job Summary
The National Outreach Manager is a dynamic professional responsible for the strategic vision, leadership, and development of RMCAD’s outreach activities and recruitment efforts:
  • Leads the outreach team to identify, develop, and implement strategic growth.
  • Directs the planning, execution and evaluation of promoting the college to the public for recruitment and relationship purposes.
  • The Manager assures exemplary services and assistance are provided to engage prospective students with the college admissions process.
  • Provides leadership and strategic planning as it relates to a recruitment plan for the campus and college, and maintains effective community partnerships with local schools, colleges, organizations, and community partners.
  • Ensure all organizational prospective student inquiry and resulting goals are achieved. Partner with individual team leaders to develop strategy and implement new ideas when organizational goals are not achieved.
  • Directs the daily operations of the department, including staffing, training, and ongoing development of staff.
  • Evaluate key performance indicators, identifying individual skill, will, and resulting development opportunities.
  • Manage budget including oversight of proper documenting and submission of mileage reimbursement requests and travel related expenses.
  • Write, implement, and maintain a recruitment plan which reflects the college-wide priorities of student outreach and engagement.
  • Pull, analyze, evaluate, and make suggestions on data for applications, enrollment conversions, trends on a frequent basis.
  • Prepares and submits reports to document departmental efforts towards goals, documented activities or other information as requested.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Outreach & Recruitment Management (50%)
  • Ensure accuracy and timely collection and data entry and evaluation in evaluation in relation to admissions, recruitment and outreach documentation, such as events, inquiries and enrollment funnel activities.
  • Stay current on recruitment trends, best practices for both traditional and non-traditional students.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local schools, businesses and community organizations to promote the benefits, educational opportunities, campus resources and events, and scholarship opportunities at RMCAD.
  • Proactively identify and meet with Human Resources, Superintendents, and other decision-makers leading initiatives to recruit, develop, and retain teachers.
  • Utilize multiple tools to find and to develop outreach campaigns for potential partnerships/ leads via networking events, cold calling, sales presentations, and social media channels.
Application Conversion (20%)
  • Ensure an accurate and up-to-date database of prospective student inquiries and partner with the Admissions team to produce a positive impact on completed applications.
  • Support the Senior Vice President of Enrollment and Vice President of Admissions with meeting the college's enrollment goals.
  • Manages the campus tour process.
Matriculation (15%)
  • Collaborates with other college stakeholders in the development of student communications plan for varying student populations.
  • Supports student lifecycle efforts to convert prospective students into fully matriculated students.
  • Executes student yield activities and events with a positive impact on student start rates.
  • Manages the colleges dual enrollment program.
Event Management (15%)
  • Leads and assists the department with planning and organizing recruitment and outreach events on and off campus including information sessions, class presentations, job fairs, college fairs, summer camps, educator workshops, etc.
  • Design and execute recruiting events that have a positive impact on student application rates.
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree and two (2) years' experience in student facing roles related to admissions, recruitment, K-12, or higher education.
  • Track record of exceeding individual and team goals.
  • Have a genuine excitement for people, education and technology.
  • Dynamic and innovative personality, with an ability to relate, empathize, and develop a wide variety of personality types, professional backgrounds, and demographics.
  • Self-motivated, adaptive, resilient, and embody integrity, always willing to do the right thing.
  • Possess strong leadership, training, facilitation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Creative problem solving, conceptual thinking, and decision-making ability.
  • Technical aptitude with strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.
  • Excel at face-to-face, over the phone, and virtual communication, in both “one-on-one” and large group environments.
  • Event planning and implementation experience.
  • Experience with student information systems and applicable software applications.
  • Experience managing general budgets and expenses.
  • Other Considerations: Valid Colorado driver's license and willingness to travel, extensive evening and weekend hours.
  • Capability of standing for long periods and handling large quantities of recruitment materials.
