Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and responsible Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and products to our customers in a timely manner. Responsibilities: - Safely and efficiently deliver products to customers' locations - Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the dispatch team - Load and unload products from the delivery vehicle - Ensure accuracy of deliveries by verifying product quantities and quality - Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any concerns or questions - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle - Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving - Report any vehicle maintenance issues or accidents to the appropriate supervisor Requirements: - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record - Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or similar role - Excellent knowledge of local traffic laws and routes - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision - Basic math skills for verifying product quantities and handling cash transactions - Physical stamina to lift heavy packages and endure long hours of driving - High school diploma or equivalent Skills: - Supervising: Ability to oversee delivery operations and ensure efficient execution. - Sales: Knowledge of sales techniques to promote products or services during deliveries. - Math: Proficiency in basic math skills for handling cash transactions and verifying product quantities. - Budgeting: Understanding of budgeting principles to manage fuel expenses efficiently. - Negotiation: Ability to negotiate with customers or suppliers when necessary. - Customer Service: Strong customer service skills to provide exceptional service during deliveries. - Phone Etiquette: Professional phone etiquette when communicating with customers or colleagues. - Cash Handling: Experience in handling cash transactions accurately. - Retail Management: Knowledge of retail operations and inventory management. - Cash Register: Familiarity with operating a cash register for processing payments.
