Rockland Federal Credit Union (RFCU) is seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our Human Resources team as an HR Intern for the Summer. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and growing financial institution. As an HR Intern at RFCU, you will work closely with our HR team and contribute to various HR initiatives and projects.
Key Responsibilities:

• Recruitment Support: Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
• Onboarding Assistance: Support new employee onboarding by preparing welcome packets, assisting with orientation sessions, and ensuring a smooth transition for new hires.
• HR Administration: Assist with HR administrative tasks such as maintaining employee records, updating HR databases, and preparing reports.
• Training and Development: Support the training and development initiatives by coordinating training sessions, tracking employee training progress, and evaluating training effectiveness.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
