About This Opportunity
As an entry-level Construction Project Engineer at Rockford Construction, you will provide support to a construction project and project team during all phases of construction. You will assist with interpretation of plans and specifications, compiling of contract documentation, cost tracking, document management, and various administrative duties. You will assist with organizing and overseeing the construction process, ensuring projects are completed in a timely and efficient manner. The Project Engineer will work on projects under direct supervision of a Market Leader and select Project Managers. This position will include a mix of project engineering (40%), administrative support duties (40%) and field work (20%).
The ideal candidate for this opportunity will have experience reviewing, analyzing and resolving field construction issues and design discrepancies, along with strong communication and project management skills, client/customer service focus, and great organizational skills.
