Responsibilities:
Rockford Center is looking for a part-time Psychologist to provide mental health services to our patients in our facility.
The Psychologist is responsible for performing a variety of direct clinical duties in the inpatient setting. These include, but are not limited to, group, individual and family treatment modalities. The Psychologist demonstrates the ability to effectively communicate with both clients and staff. They demonstrate the ability to prioritize the multiple demands of the position and are able to accurately follow instructions. Excellent judgment and clinical skills are essential for this position.
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for own clinical growth through attendance of inservices, presentations, and other continuing education activities
- Perform thorough and accurate psychosocial evaluations
- Develop and implement master treatment plans
- Provide appropriate discharge planning/aftercare referrals
- Document thoroughly, accurately and in a timely manner

Qualifications:
Qualifications
- Education: Doctoral degree from an accredited university.
- License/Certifications: Licensed (or licensed eligible)Psychologist in Delaware (with Health Service Provider designation).
- Experience: Must have two years of supervised experience (pre-doctoral or post-doctoral) that includes assessment and remediation of neuropsychological disorders.
- Essential Physical Requirements: Medium physically demanding work, requiring extensive walking, sitting, standing. Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
