Our Position

The Scanning Specialist is responsible for efficiently converting physical documents and files into digital formats and ensuring relevant data is entered into the company’s customer relationship management (CRNM) system, PestPac.

Your Responsibilities

• Scanning Documents: Operate scanning machines to convert paper documents, forms, and files into electronic formats (such as PDFs or image files). Ensures high-resolution scans and maintains the quality of digitized materials.
• Data Entry: Enter relevant data from scanned documents into the customer relationship management (CRM) system, PestPac. This includes accurately recording information, organizing files, and maintaining records of stored data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established procedures.
• Quality Control: Reviews scanned documents for errors, such as smudges or lines, and re-scans if necessary. Attention to detail is crucial to maintain data integrity.
• Filing and Organization: File electronic documents into storage systems, ensuring easy retrieval when needed.
• Security and Confidentiality: Maintains the security of confidential information and adheres to data security procedures to protect sensitive data.
• Other: Provides support to other departments, as needed.

Our Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience with scanning equipment or data entry, ideal.
• Must have strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Must be flexible and adaptable.
• Must be able to meet deadlines.
• Must have good communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, ideal.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Must be able to pass a seven-year criminal background check.
• Must be able to pass company drug screen and/or substance abuse testing.
