Summary Job Description

Position is responsible for inspecting whitewood products to ensure quality is being met.

Essential Duties

• Using knowledgeable of different wood and veneer characteristics to determine repair action and quality
• Refits drawers and doors as needed
• Assembles a piece of wood or veneer to product as needed
• Observes all scratches, dents, dips; repairing case to original product quality
• Uses different wood related hand tools
• Keeps work area clean and is quality conscious in performing duties
• Must follow all safety policies and procedures
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Position Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• 1 year of woodwork repair experience strongly preferred
• Knowledge of various hand sanders a plus

• Must be able to walk, stand, climb, stoop, twist, push, pull, and bend over the course of 8 hours
• Must be able to work in noisy environments
