Summary Job Description

This position is responsible for performing the final inspection of high-end upholstered furniture.

Essential Duties

• Streams various fabrics
• Removes any excess thread/fabric from cushions and upholstery
• Fastens cushions into the upholstered furniture and labels units correctly
• Identifies defects within the upholstered and finishes
• Tags defects for repair
• Verifies quality of high-end furniture and prints appropriate inspection label and scans for packing
• Returns excess COM as noted on ticket
• Must follow all safety policies and procedures
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Position Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous upholstery experience required

• Prolonged periods of standing and performing repetitive tasks
• Must be able to work in noisy environments
• Frequent grasping, pushing/pulling and fine manipulation
• Frequently lifting/carrying objects up to 50 lbs.; rarely lifting/carrying objects 51-75 lbs.
