Responsibilities of the Teacher:

  • Lesson planning.
  • Curriculum implementation.
  • Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices.
  • Adhere to policies and procedures.
  • Communication with families and staff.
  • Build relationships with children and their families.

Qualifications of the Teacher:

  • EEC Teacher Licensure in Infant/Toddler and/or Pre-school.
  • Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood or a related field (preferred).
  • Technology Skills (e.g. email).
  • CPR & First Aid Certification (willing to obtain).
  • Be able to communicate effectively with parents and other staff members.
  • Knowledge in the Montessori teaching method (preferred)
