ASSISTANT USED CAR MANAGER

REPORTS TO: Used Car Manager

Job Summary

The Assistant Used Car Manager will be responsible for supporting the sales and operations of our used car department. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a self-motivated individual with a passion for the automotive industry.Core Responsibilities

Assist the Used Car Manager in daily operations and decision making for the used car department.

Support the Used Car Manager in overseeing the used car inventory, ensuring appropriate pricing, quality, and appeal.

Conduct market research and analysis to determine competitive market pricing and inventory needs.Develop and implement effective marketing and advertising strategies to promote used car sales.Collaborate with the sales team to optimize customer experience and achieve sales goals.

Ensure that vehicles meet the quality standards during the reconditioning process.

Manage and track expenses and sales targets for the used car department.Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the used car department.

Other duties as assigned by the Used Car Manager or General Sales Manager.

Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in automotive sales and/or management, preferably in the used car department.Knowledge of automotive trends, models, and pricing.Strong leadership and communication skills.Ability to effectively analyze data and make informed decisions.Proficient in Microsoft Office and dealership management software.Valid driver's license and clean driving record.Must pass a background check and drug screening.

Physical Demands

Must be able to remain in stationary position 80%.

Frequently works in outdoor weather conditions.
