    Job Summary:
    Independent School District #535 is seeking a Rule 3 Lead Teacher for the Licensed child care center at the Rochester Alternative Learning Center.
    Job Responsibilities:
    • Child Care ESP will attend to children at the school site.
    • Care for children and observe and monitor children's play activities in the child care center.
    • Implement Early Head Start lesson plans.
    • Sanitize toys and play equipment.
    • Assist children in health and personal habits.
    • Read to children and provide developmentally appropriate activities.
    • Perform tasks within the level of responsibility of position as assigned by the Team Leader.
    • Assist Head Start teacher with observations regarding the children’s development.
    • Supervise student workers in the child care room.
    Qualifications:
    • Lead Teacher Certified for Rule 3 Licensed Child Care - required
    • Current in pediatric CPR and First Aid certification.
    • Previous licensed child care experience required.
    • Minimum requirement of 48 college semester credits or a two-year degree. Please include transcript(s) with application.
    • Data collection
    • Flexibility and the ability to work as a cooperative team member.
    • Good organizational skills.
    • Regular, on-time attendance is required.
    • Physical requirement: must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Stooping and bending required.
    • 24 hours of In-Service Training required annually.
