How You Can Contribute to Our Team: The Community and Acquisitions Support Coordinator will collaborate with departmental leaders to effectively coordinate the onboarding and training of property management staff, as well as special projects and acquisitions. The Coordinator will consistently promote the company mission, values and culture while acting with the highest level of ethical decision-making at all times.
Essential Functions:
Training and Onboarding:
  • Works in collaboration with Human Resources and Director of Training to assist in the onboarding process of new property office staff.
  • Acts as a liaison between regional/site managers and employees, ensuring onboarding checkpoints are met and evaluations are completed in a timely manner.
  • Assists in the training of new employees on company software and procedures.
  • Assists site employees with basic operational questions or directs them to other staff (Director of Facilities, Director of Training, Director of Compliance, etc).
  • Works with CPM employees to ensure timely completion of LMS training.
  • Sets up new employees in property management software.
  • Works in collaboration with Director of Training and IT to assist in software technical support and resolving errors.
Acquisitions & Site Operations
  • Coordinates and organizes the new property acquisition and lease up processes.
  • Works in collaboration with other team members to ensure the successful setup of new properties within the property management software.
  • Makes site visits to assist employees with special projects and operational needs.
  • Supports property staff to accurately and comprehensively review and respond to operational reports to ensure compliance with property metrics.
  • Understands and ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local government regulations, codes, laws, and those of HUD, DHCR, HFA, USDA or other governing agencies; has knowledge of and cooperates with area or municipal associations regarding ordinances and restrictions. 
  • Models positive customer service attitude; including but not limited to being pleasant, professional, respectful and responsive to residents, prospective residents, vendors, contractors, and all staff.
  • Effectively, respectfully, and professionally partners with all staff at all times.
  • Consistently and effectively collaborates with Director of Training and Staff Development on applicable training, development and support initiatives.
Mental and Physical Demands:
  • Must be able to maintain professional, respectful and collaborative communication as well as act with the highest standards of ethical conduct at all times.
Education Requirements:
  • Degree from an accredited college or equivalent property management experience. 
  • Affordable Site Management certifications preferred, such as:
    • Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS). 
    • C3P Tax Credit and LIHTC certification.
