Robotic Assistance Devices is Hiring an I.T. Network Technician Near Ferndale, Mi

We are looking for a I.T. Technician to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate should have experience and background with a degree in a relevant I.T field from a college or university. The role will require working within a cross disciplinary team in a production environment to sustain our manufacturing efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for hardware, software and network related issues.
  • Configure, install, and manage corporate devices including but not limited to PCs and Android tablets.
  • Manage incoming support inquires from our Ops Team.
  • Balance incoming support requests and escalation, while attempting to determine root causes to 
  • Resolve user issues on manufacturing floor and in field.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining of documentation.
  • Observe all safety rules and promote a safe working environment with team members.
  • Maintain strict GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
  • Debugging and troubleshooting
  • Follow the company process
Qualifications
  • College degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • CompTIA A certificate 
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a technical support role.
  • Hands on experience with Office365 environment
  • Experience with PC imaging and deployment software
  • Working knowledge of Windows and Linux desktop operating systems
  • Experience with troubleshooting and debugging approaches.
  • Basic understanding of network TCP/IP model.
  • Skill in organization, analysis, time management, prioritization, and the ability to meet deadlines for multiple tasks
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and quality of support and service
  • Good interpersonal skills and communication to interact with all levels of management
  • Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to small details
Preferred experience
  • AC/DC low voltage power system knowledge.
  • Ability to use multimeter
  • PTZ CAMs configuration
  • CompTIA Network Certificate.
