Robertson Homes is seeking candidates for Land Development Driector position with at least 10 years Land Development iinstallation experience. strong computer skills a real plus. Pay will be competitive and commensurate with amount of relevant experience you have. Bonus pay on top of salary.

Job Duties:

· Directing and leadership of the Land Development Department

· Providing on-site direct supervision of land development personnel, if any, and subcontractors in all phases of the land development process

· All land development field due diligence and investigations

· Develop schedules for land development approvals and construction

· Prepare all land development budgets from conceptual design to as-bid

· Prepare progress reports to effectively drive field production

· Value engineering all final designs for cost savings

· Estimate and purchase all land development contracts, review scopes of work and quality control standards

· Conduct dirt balance analysis based on site specific information

· Schedule and participate in LD preconstruction meetings

· Overseeing the installation of all amenity and common area improvements

· Attending all Manager meetings, land development meetings, land acquisition meetings, and project meetings as directed

· Assist in training production staff in land development installation procedures

· Monitoring land development budgets and managing change order requests

· Conducting Production turnover meetings

· Working with Land Acquisition to review sites and review preliminary cost estimates

· Maintaining historical cost numbers for all LD projects

· Adhering to RB Mission Statement and Principles of Operation

· Administering all land development safety programs per OSHA standards

· Participate in all decisions about:

· Site plan and amenity designs

· Assist in obtaining preliminary municipal approvals
