DescriptionWe are offering a contract employment opportunity for a VP Technology in Wilmington, Delaware. This role is pivotal in our team, where you will be involved in process improvement, working with auditors and regulatory agencies, documenting and implementing IT processes, policies, and procedures or general controls. You will be working in a highly regulated business environment, drawing on your experience and skills in Cisco Technologies, Cloud Technologies, CRM, Database, EO/IR systems, Auditing, Computer Hardware, Contracts, Deployments, and Design. Responsibilities
Lead process improvement initiatives across different technological domains.
Work closely with auditors and regulatory agencies, responding to audit requests and remediating findings.
Document and implement IT processes, policies, and procedures or general controls to ensure compliance.
Communicate effectively with various stakeholders, leveraging your excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Foster a team environment while multitasking on various projects.
Show a high level of initiative, creativity, and curiosity, continually learning and adapting to new situations.
Utilize Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook, to manage tasks and communicate effectively.
Travel occasionally to different company sites as required by the role.
Use your knowledge of Cisco Technologies, Cloud Technologies, CRM, Database, EO/IR systems, Auditing, Computer Hardware, Contracts, Deployments, and Design to enhance operational efficiency.
Requirements
Demonstrated experience in a VP Technology role or similar senior leadership position within the technology sector
Proficiency in Cisco Technologies, Cloud Technologies, and CRM platforms
Strong knowledge of databases and EO/IR systems
Extensive experience in auditing, particularly in technology environments
Proficiency in computer hardware, including installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance
Demonstrated experience in contract negotiation and management
Proven track record in successfully managing technology deployments
Strong design skills, particularly in developing and implementing technology solutions
Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage teams
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with all levels of the organization and external stakeholders
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree or higher is preferred.
