The Tax Accountant will file federal and state tax returns and work with financial and income tax statements, ensuring they comply with tax laws. This is the role for a deadline driven Tax Accountant with excellent attention to detail and organization.Your responsibilities in this role- Coordinate outsourced tax preparation work- Recognize ways to improve profits and tax savings- Maintain good industry knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, participating in professional organizations, keeping up with professional networks and reading professional publications- Ensure client compliance with federal, state and local tax regulations- Manage the company's tax database and put together tax provisions schedules, returns, payments, and reports- Identify tax issues or errors from incorrect tax filings and create solutions- Provide management with information regarding the impact of tax liabilities and corporate strategies or new tax laws- Accurately prepare quarterly and annual tax reports
