Robert Half’s client is a rapidly expanding manufacturer is seeking a detail-oriented and diligent Staff Accountant to assist with the preparation and maintenance of their financial records. Responsibilities:Perform duties related to cost accounting.Maintain up-to-date and precise financial records, general ledger entries, and account reconciliations.Assist in preparation of financial statements, monthly/quarterly/annual reports, and variance analysis to aid decision-making processes.Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and other regulatory requirements.Assist with internal and external audit processes as required.Reconcile bank accounts monthly, verify deposits, and address bank inquiries.Ensure the correct processing of invoices linked to accounts payable is charged to the right accounts.Stay updated with acceptable accounting practices and procedures.Perform other related duties as assigned.Key Competencies:Strong knowledge and understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.Proficiency in using accounting software, spreadsheet software, and other business-related software.Strong organizational and time management skills.Ability to work independently and cooperate with various departments.Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.For immediate consideration please directly contact Steve Fields at 919-787-8226.
