You will succeed in this position if you have the ability to prepare journal entries, monthly and year-end closings, bank reconciliation, fixed asset maintenance, and general ledger reconciliation and be responsible for many aspects of internal reporting during the monthly close. To succeed in this role, you will need to be comfortable participating in compliance, interacting with our external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audits, and reviewing schedules reporting processes. Do you have a complex understanding of Financial Statements, Cash Flow projections, and Budgets? You'll be preferred for this role.What you get to do every day- Produce complex journal entries and account reconciliations which include, but are not limited to, cash, prepaid expenses, and payroll- Manage depreciation, fixed asset ledgers, and reconciliation- Organize and review various financial data, then report it in a manner that is useful and understandable- In-depth experience with month end balance sheet account reconciliations- Ad hoc reporting and performing special projects upon request- Maintain, implement, and adhere to internal controls while ensuring that accounting procedures comply with GAAP- Support the month end, quarter end and year end closing process by preparing monthly financial close workbooks- Arrange schedules for capital lease and monthly payments- Manage intercompany reconciliation, billings, and transactions- Prepare analyses for monthly balance sheets and income statements for management to report on- Participate in various department-wide initiatives- Regular maintenance and reconciliation of journal entries- Conduct month end close and compose journal entries with minimal supervision
