This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the financial health of a prestigious organization. Pay is up to $75/hr. if you have healthcare industry experience and proficiency in Workday. You must be onsite 1 day/week. The other 4 days you can work remotely. As the Cash Accountant, you will play a critical role in managing and reconciling cash transactions specific to the hospital's operations. The ideal person will possess a solid understanding of cash application, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate the complexities of financial transactions within a healthcare setting. Reporting directly to the accounting supervisor, this position offers a rewarding opportunity for professional growth in the healthcare finance sector. This is a high-volume position. You won't get bored in this role. Responsibilities1. Patient Revenue Reconciliation: - Reconcile daily patient revenue transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with healthcare financial regulations. - Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to patient billing and payments.2. Insurance Payments Analysis: - Analyze insurance payments, ensuring proper posting and reconciliation. - Work closely with the billing department to address any payment-related issues.3.
