The Senior Accountant is responsible for supporting the Controller with performing accounting functions such as posting transactions, running reports, reconciling accounts.Essential Responsibilities:Strong working knowledge of basic accounting principles for application of day to day responsibilities following GAAPPrepares journal entries, including accruals and prepaymentsBalance sheet reconciliationReview/process A/R entries on a daily basis, solving any discrepancies as necessary in a timely mannerReview/process A/P entries such as utilities and recurring and regular invoicesReviews weekly account balances in order to manage cash flow effectivelyReconcile banks statements and balance sheetPrepares Year End 1099’s for Controller reviewAdjusts errors and discrepanciesAll other duties as assigned
