We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records while supporting various accounting functions. Key Responsibilities: Prepare accounting related entries to numerous registers, journals, and logs, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting principles. Support accounts payable activities by overseeing invoice creation and entry, verifying accuracy, and facilitating timely payments. Execute a variety of financial procedures, including month-end and year-end closings, to ensure timely and accurate reporting. Reconcile accounts, resolve discrepancies, and ensure proper documentation and justification for all financial transactions. Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and presentations for management and external stakeholders. Analyze financial data and trends to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, enhance controls, and drive efficiencies within the finance department. Stay current with accounting standards, regulations, and industry trends to ensure compliance and mitigate risks. Provide support during internal and external audits, including preparing audit schedules and responding to inquiries. Mentor and train entry level staff members, sharing expertise and fostering detail oriented growth within the team.
