This short-term contract / temporary employment opportunity is based in the Escondido, California area.What you get to do every single day- Continually improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process- Ad-hoc projects as required- Provide analysis on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)- Assist in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors- Participate in various department-wide initiatives- Prepare monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting- Realize compliance with corporate accounting policies and procedures and controls by working with business partners- Execute monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP- Put together Balance Sheet account reconciliations
