Robert Half is Hiring a Sr. Accountant Near Chapel Hill, NC
Responsibilities
- Provide expertise in guiding system implementation projects
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of client requirements and prepare gap analyses
- Contribute to platform implementation activities and facilitate end-user education and training
- Define accounting-specific configuration options in line with operational and reporting needs
- Formulate standardized approaches for user reporting hierarchies and custom workflows
- Craft custom reports based on clients' needs leveraging advanced data analysis skills
- Integrate with third-party systems through data mapping
- Oversee client-side acceptance and integration testing
- Assist in designing new features and enhancing platform functionality
- Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to travel.
- Must possess a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the Financial Services industry
- Demonstrated experience in Public Accounting Audit
- Proven skills in Public Accounting Tax
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in using financial software and databases
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage stress effectively in high-pressure situations
- Familiarity with financial regulations and standards.
