Our client, located in Burbank, is looking for a Senior Property Accountant to join their team. This role is on-site and only local applicants will be considered. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $45 to $48 per year.
Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all accounting functions related to commercial real estate properties

• Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger

• Reconcile monthly bank statements to the general ledger

• Record and process accounts payable and accounts receivable

• Process cash receipts and prepare bank deposits

• Prepare common area maintenance (CAM reconciliations) and real estate tax reconciliations

• Monitor daily cash balances, accounts payable, and accounts receivable

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements/reporting packages

• Perform a wide variety of accounting analyses

• Analyze various transactions and identify appropriate accounting treatment

• Assist with the preparation of annual operating budgets

• Assist management with special projects and other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• 4 years property accounting in commercial real estate sector

• Experience with MRI, Yardi Voyager, or other real estate accounting software is a plus

• Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
