The individual must have the ability and demonstrated track record in researching, documenting and presenting the impact of technical accounting pronouncements. The successful candidate will be a dynamic results-driven professional, who thrives in a team environment, and is striving to advance their career development.Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual reports, including preparation of the consolidated financial statements, footnotes, and other required information, in accordance with US. GAAP and SEC rules and regulationsAssist in the preparation of other periodic SEC filingsResearch relevant accounting guidance issued by the SEC, determining and documenting the appropriate technical accounting and reporting treatmentMonitor changes to the company’s business processes, ensuring internal controls are implemented and being performed as establishedAssist with quarterly reviews and annual audits performed by external auditorsCompletes ad-hoc and reporting projects as assigned by management
