We are seeking a diligent and dedicated individual to join our team as a Patient Registration Clerk in Lower Lake, California. This role involves managing patient visits and scheduling for our home health and hospice agencies, which serve communities across California, Hawaii, Oregon, and Washington. The successful candidate will be responsible for staffing visits, maintaining patient schedules, and communicating necessary information to relevant staff members. This role offers a contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities:• Staff patient visits for home health and hospice care, ensuring appropriate personnel are assigned for each visit• Record and communicate patient schedules to staff members in a timely and efficient manner• Schedule new patient referrals to appropriate clinicians based on patient location and clinician skillset• Assist with changes in staff schedules and reassign patients as necessary• Maintain on-call coverage schedule and ensure all disciplines and clinicians are assigned in the clinical point of care system• Notify billing department staff of non-Medicare insurance patients and their care schedules• Communicate relevant patient information to appropriate staff as needed• Support other administrative roles as needed, including the Home Health Patient Associate• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
