Description
We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Report Developer in Houston, Texas. As a part of our team, you will be instrumental in the design and development of corporate reports and dashboards, primarily utilizing Power BI. Your role will involve a significant amount of interaction with end-users, and the creation of technical documentation to support the tools and reports you develop.
Responsibilities
Design and build dashboards and corporate reports based on end-user requirements using Power BI
Create complex queries to extract and manipulate data for reporting purposes
Assist end-users in understanding and utilizing developed dashboards and reports
Create and maintain technical documentation for dashboards and reports, including user manuals and guides when necessary
Utilize skills in Crystal Enterprise, Crystal Reports, Info View, Maximo, Microsoft Excel, About Time, Ad Hoc Reporting, Charts - Graphs, Create Dashboards, Credit Union Policy to perform job functions effectively
Ensure all developed solutions are accurate, efficient, and meet the needs of the business and end-users
Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver effective solutions
Continuously explore new technologies and tools that can enhance reporting capabilities
Effectively communicate complex information to a variety of audiences, both technical and non-technical.
Requirements
Proficient in using Crystal Enterprise and Crystal Reports
Familiarity with Info View and Maximo
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
Experience with About Time software
Ability to perform Ad Hoc Reporting
Knowledge in creating charts and graphs
Experience in creating dashboards
Understanding of Credit Union Policy
Proficient in using Power BI
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent problem-solving skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred but not mandatory)
Experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
