Essential Functions• Analyze weekly purchase component demand for Materials Requirement Planning (MRP). Process MRP system driven demand reports.• Process Purchase orders per weekly MRP reports and schedule demand priority. Issue purchase orders consistent with system identified source; utilize best system identified cost and best cost strategies as communicated through management.• Document supplier acknowledgements and confirmations to purchase orders and verify accuracy.• Expedite shortages by documenting and escalating actionable solutions.• Coordinate monthly supplier PO schedule confirmation audits. Document and report all Open Orders schedules from supplier and align with Open Purchase Order status on Epicor system PO records.• Verify current and best supplier lead times; keep Epicor MRP updated with same.• Expedite shortages; escalate and document shortages with daily status with urgency through best possible actionable solutions. Facilitate conference calls to drive solutions. • Process Request for Quotes (RFQ) consistent with organization sourcing strategies.• Receive, review, and evaluate supplier proposals to ensure compliance with prime RFQ requirements.• Perform cost price analysis on procurements on low to moderate risk and complexity.• Compile RFQ strategic options analysis, clarify required input from target sources and document cost analysis with all required RFQ details.• Participate in proposal evaluation team on fact finding, technical evaluation and review of strategic options analysis.• Process weekly reports to suppliers for Vendor Managed Inventory and Just in Time shipments.• Act as a liaison between the program teams and other functional areas of support to establish a cohesive work group to succeed in material objectives and receipt/invoice issue resolution.• Monitor First Article Inspection Sample Schedules and documentation through delivery per confirmed purchases.
