We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Public Tax Accountant with a preference for CPA certification to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in multi-client bookkeeping, proficient in setting up and maintaining QuickBooks Online (QBO), and possess expertise in tax preparation using ProSeries software. The candidate should also have a solid background in Mergers & Acquisitions, as well as experience in estate planning.Responsibilities:Multi-Client Bookkeeping:Manage and maintain the financial records of multiple clients.Set up and oversee bookkeeping processes using QuickBooks Online (QBO).Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.Tax Preparation:Utilize ProSeries software for efficient and accurate tax preparation.Prepare and file individual and business tax returns.Stay updated on tax regulations and changes to ensure compliance.Mergers & Acquisitions:Provide financial expertise in M& A transactions, including due diligence and financial analysis.Collaborate with clients and internal teams to navigate tax implications of M& A activities.Estate Planning:Offer strategic guidance on estate planning to clients.Collaborate with legal and financial professionals to develop comprehensive estate plans.CPA Functions:If not already a CPA, actively pursue CPA certification.Implement and adhere to CPA standards and practices.Provide expertise in accounting and taxation as per CPA guidelines.
