Description
We are seeking an Application Development Project Manager/Lead to join our team in the finance consulting industry based in Baltimore, Maryland. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of new data models and tools, managing multiple stakeholders and partners, and leading large-scale complex projects.
This will be a hybrid role in Baltimore, MD.
Responsibilities:
Lead the end-to-end project management activities for large-scale complex projects, ensuring all activities deliver expected value within committed time frames and budget.
Establish the project's governance, including sponsors, approvers, and stakeholders.
Independently apply advanced methodologies and project management tools to conduct analyses, reporting, and related activities for assigned projects.
Manage project management activities, including contingency/dependency tracking, status reporting, issue/risk identification and tracking, scope management, and stakeholder management.
Provide oversight to workstream/task leads within the project and resolve any escalated project risks, issues, and dependencies.
Drive benefit achievement by leading project inception, planning, and solution design and build, and by measuring key performance indicators and solution adoption.
Engage other colleagues/resources and assign appropriate responsibilities to support the achievement of project plans.
Manage the overall scope and timing of the project, ensuring business value is delivered on time and within budget.
Oversee end-to-end project management activities for large-scale complex projects with oversight for the full project life cycle.
Develop statements of work, stakeholder engagement plans, and project schedules, ensuring all project deliverables are met on time and within scope.
Lead the migration of legacy systems to new platforms and oversee the decommissioning of legacy applications.
Requirements
Proven experience in finance consulting and application development project management.
Demonstrated skills in reporting, operations, and project management.
Proficient in planning, including planning processes and budget processes.
Experience with workstation support, pricing, and benefit functions.
Strong understanding of security measures and working with vendors.
Proven track record of overseeing project progress and implementation.
Experience with expense reporting, financial notes, and stakeholder management.
Ability to work with partners and execute plans effectively.
Proficient in KPI reporting and data migration.
Experience in project oversight, cost analysis, and various methodologies.
Demonstrated ability to produce and manage deliverables.
