The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process, with a keen emphasis on negotiating and managing contracts to ensure favorable terms and compliance with company policies and legal requirements. This role requires up to 40% travel and the company does offer relocation assistance.Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and conditions for contracts.Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to facilitate effective contract management.Review, analyze, and draft contracts, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and legal requirements.Monitor contract performance and compliance, identifying and addressing any deviations or issues in a timely manner.Collaborate with legal and other relevant stakeholders to mitigate risks and resolve contract-related disputes.Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies to optimize procurement processes and achieve cost savings.Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and market trends.Evaluate supplier capabilities and performance to ensure alignment with business needs and quality standards.Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, fostering collaboration and driving continuous improvement.Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and assessments to identify opportunities for improvement and address any issues or concerns.Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including finance, legal, operations, and other departments, to ensure alignment of procurement activities with overall business objectives.Provide guidance and support to cross-functional teams on procurement-related matters, including contract terms and conditions, supplier selection, and negotiation strategies.Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements throughout the procurement process.Identify and assess risks associated with procurement activities and develop strategies to mitigate them effectively.
