We are looking for a dedicated Payroll Specialist to join our team in the healthcare industry, based in Vancouver, Washington. As a Payroll Specialist, you will be tasked with reviewing and processing timecard punches, making necessary corrections, and ensuring payments are processed in line with the individual's pay rate at the time of the error. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities:• Reviewing a substantial number of timecard punches to determine if they have been paid• Making necessary corrections to timecard punches as needed• Processing payments in accordance with the individual's pay rate at the time of the error• Utilizing the Kronos Timekeeping System to manage payroll tasks• Conducting research and resolving discrepancies related to bi-monthly payroll• Managing payroll for union members and ensuring compliance with union contract stipulations• Developing and implementing payroll policies and procedures to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing• Collaborating with other departments to ensure payroll information is accurate and up-to-date• Addressing and resolving any issues related to payroll processing.
