A well-established client of ours in the Plano/Richardson area is seeking a contract Payroll Specialist for a 3 month project. Responsibilities:• Execute payroll processing activities, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established timelines.• Utilize Accounting Software Systems and ADP - Financial Services to manage payroll activities.• Handle 401k - RRSP Administration and other accounting functions as necessary.• Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly.• Utilize IBM AS/400 and Kronos Timekeeping System to track employee hours and calculate pay.• Leverage Ceridian and UKG Pro systems for effective payroll management.• Address any payroll-related inquiries from employees, providing accurate and timely responses.• Ensure compliance with all relevant payroll regulations and company policies.• Continuously improve payroll processes by identifying inefficiencies and recommending solutions.• Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth payroll process.
