Payroll Processing: Supporting the Sr. Payroll Specialist in overseeing and executing end-to-end payroll processing for 800 employees accurately and on time. Review and verify payroll data for completeness and accuracy. Ensures timecards are submitted prior to payroll processing. Process payroll adjustments, including salary changes, bonuses, commissions, and deductions. Handle complex payroll issues and resolve discrepancies promptly.Payroll Compliance: Assists in the reviews and ensures accurate and timely W2 issuance and filings. Reviews stale dated payroll checks and completes the escheatment process, as needed. Reconcile payroll-related accounts. Expense Reports: Reviews the corporate department expense reports for proper coding and compliance with government (FAR) overhead allowable versus unallowable expenses. Taxation and Reporting: Reviews taxes, garnishments, and other withholdings for accuracy.Audit and Documentation: Prepare for and assist with payroll, audits, ensuring all necessary documentation and records are readily available and accurate. Communication: Work closely with the HR department to ensure accurate employee data. Address employee payroll inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner. Works closely with Sr. Payroll Specialist and Payroll and Compliance Manager on all payroll and benefits related matters.
