We are in search of a Corporate Paralegal to join our team in Overland Park, Kansas. This role involves providing legal and administrative support, particularly in the areas of contract management and corporate compliance. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to collaborate with our acquisitions team and contribute significantly to our operations. Responsibilities:• Act as the primary control and review for all of the firm’s contractual client agreements, including engagement letters.• Review documents against firm standards and provide response/recommendations for edits.• Handle contractual agreements with vendors, suppliers, consultants, and contractors.• Assist with research and analysis for corporate compliance issues when we enter new states for operation.• Lead compliance activities associated with corporate level licensing for every state applicable.• Maintain records to ensure adherence to all contractual obligations.• Report and maintain status records for all insurance claim submissions.• Responsible for creating and adhering to policies and procedures to support overall firm risk management.• Maintain a high level of confidentiality for the safeguard of clients and employees.• Provide support and assistance to the CFO and COO with other legal, contractual, and compliance issues.Skills: • Proficiency in Case Management Software, Corporate ParaLegal, Contract Management, Vendor Agreements, Corporate Finance.• Excellent oral, written, and negotiation skills.• Ability to be a self-sufficient and detail-oriented team member.
