We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Onsite IT Consultant for a short-term consulting role in Tucson, Arizona. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support in the implementation, configuration, and optimization of various IT infrastructure components. The role will specifically focus on networking solutions, security measures, and system monitoring tools.Key Responsibilities:PfSense Firewall Expertise:Demonstrate proficiency in designing, configuring, and maintaining PfSense firewalls.Implement and optimize firewall policies to enhance network security.Troubleshoot and resolve firewall-related issues.Ubiquiti Networking:Possess hands-on experience with Ubiquiti networking equipment.Design, deploy, and manage robust and scalable network solutions.Optimize and troubleshoot network performance.RMM System Implementation:Utilize expertise to implement a Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) system.Configure automated monitoring, patch management, and remote support capabilities.Provide training to internal teams on RMM system usage.Status Page System Implementation:Implement and configure a Status Page system to provide real-time updates on system health and service availability.Ensure seamless integration with existing infrastructure and applications.Develop and maintain documentation for ongoing management.SIEM Tools Proficiency:Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools.Implement and configure SIEM solutions for proactive threat detection and response.Conduct regular security audits and recommend improvements based on SIEM data.
