Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and support local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and Internet systems or a segment of a network system.
- Monitor network to ensure network availability to all system users and perform necessary maintenance to support network availability.
- Administer servers, desktop computers, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, software deployment, security updates, and patches.
- Manage Windows Server environments, including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Ensure the integrity and security of the network data, servers, and backup systems.
- Respond to network administration needs and issues as they arise.
- Work with the IT team to optimize and enhance the network and system performance.
- Train and guide staff on basic network administration and troubleshooting procedures.
- Implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices.
- Create accurate network diagrams and documentation for the design and planning of network communication systems.
- Proficiency in managing Cisco Routers and Cisco Technologies
- Familiarity with EO/IR systems
- Proficient in Firewall Technologies
- Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft software and Active Directory
- Ability to implement Backup Technologies
- Competency in Computer Hardware and Configuration Management
- Strong design skills
- Understanding of LAN - Local Area Network and WAN - Wide Area Network
- Ability to perform Basic Network Troubleshooting
- Knowledge of Cisco Networking and Comptia Network
- Experience in Network Analysis and Network Administration
- Understanding of Network Hardware and Network Infrastructure
- Proficiency in managing Router Switches and Firewall
- Capable of Hardware & Software Installation
- Familiarity with various Hardware and Software systems.
