Responsibilities:Prepare and review tax work papers and returns for hedge funds, private equity funds, real estate funds, and special purpose vehicles (SPVs).Review estimated tax calculations.Prepare and review investor tax documents and reports.Manage relationships with external accounting, tax, and legal firms.Conduct research and analysis on investor tax inquiries, providing appropriate responses.Coordinate with other departments and external audit firms regarding audited financial statements, including ASC 740 (formerly FIN 48) analysis.Conduct research and analysis on tax law changes affecting the asset management industry.
