This role primarily involves the coordination and expediting of work and materials flow within or between departments according to the production schedule. The selected candidate will be responsible for reviewing and distributing production work and shipment schedules, as well as compiling reports on inventory levels, costs, and more.Responsibilities: • Examine documents, materials, and products, and monitor work processes to assess completeness, accuracy, and conformance to standards and specifications.• Review documents such as production schedules, work orders, and staffing tables to determine personnel and materials requirements and material priorities.• Record production data, including volume produced, consumption of raw materials, and quality control measures.• Requisition and maintain inventories of materials and supplies necessary to meet production demands.• Utilize computer applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel for various tasks.• Handle shipping functions and understand applicable laws and regulations related to shipping and production.• Manage documentation processes, review systems, and logistics.• Oversee manufacturing specifications and quality control.• Use interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and solve problems.• Handle raw materials and production data.
