Legal Specialist needed for a expanded legal department located downtown Chicago. This position works closely with the General Counsel of a collaborative team. The company provides comprehensive solutions and streamlined services. The legal specialist will handle a variety of responsibilities including: · Maintain documentation of management agreements, franchise agreements, loan documents, operating agreements, and contracts. · Submit licensing and permitting requests, maintain corresponding records, and communicate requirements and standards. · Maintain documents of incorporation and corporate relationship according to standards and direction. · Produce and distribute annual reports according to standard and as directed. · Provide litigation oversight by reporting claims to insurance, ensuring the continuation of coverage, tracking chart of litigation, and corresponding risk management. · Serve as liaison between insurance provider and corporate finance team. · Serve as primary contact for property entities in insurance, permitting, licensing, and contract review/renewal matters.
