In NEW YORK, NY (Hybrid Opportunity): Our client - an industry-leading computational platform facilitates the research efforts of biopharmaceutical and industrial companies, academic institutions and government laboratories worldwide - is searching for a Legal Assistant to support their Patent IP and Regulatory Research team on a part-time, contract basis. The ideal candidate for this role will bring a STRONG interest in legal work, and some legal exposure, as well as the ability to commit to a 5-hour a day schedule over a six month period, potentially longer. Responsibilities include document management, invoice tracking and submission, and the ability to handle a Contracts Management database along with other administrative and project support tasks. While role does not REQUIRE a legal background, candidates with some exposure to creative writing (and/or interest in potentially becoming a lawyer) will be prioritized for this role. Schedule for this position is PART-TIME, quoted as 5 hours a day (note team starts at 10 a.m.), in-office (Midtown Manhattan) Tues - Thurs, with Mondays and Fridays being remote.
