Description
We are looking for an IT Director located near Brookfield, WI. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity in the Legal industry. The IT Director will be responsible for overseeing all technical aspects of our company, including the support for 40 end users, refreshing workstations, and managing applications. This role requires a deep understanding of PowerShell, Microsoft Windows Server, Visual Basic (VB), SonicWall, Network Security, and SQL Reporting.
Responsibilities:
Oversee all technical aspects of the company including support for end users, refreshing workstations, and managing applications Use PowerShell to automate law firm packages and transition from Visual Basic SQL for reporting to monitor and report on company metrics Leverage Microsoft Suite products to enhance productivity and collaboration across teams Maintain network security using SonicWall and work with third party vendors to create an environment resistant to intrusion Travel within the next 6 months to a site on the West Coast Communicate effectively with clients as needed Think critically and creatively to solve complex IT issues
Requirements
Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role such as IT Manager or IT Director. Knowledge and experience in PowerShell scripting is essential. Familiarity with Microsoft Windows Server. Ability to work with Visual Basic (VB) is necessary. Experience with SonicWall is a must. Strong understanding of Network Security is required. Proficiency in SQL is needed. Time management skills are essential. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field is preferred. Relevant IT certifications will be considered an advantage. Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work. Demonstrated ability to stay current with technological trends and innovations in the IT field.
