We are seeking an IT Auditor based in Boston, Massachusetts. This role offers a contract employment opportunity in the financial services industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting internal audits, rationalizing controls, and testing the design and operating effectiveness of business systems. The IT Auditor will also gain experience in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) sector and will be expected to resolve any audit findings in a timely and efficient manner.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards
• Rationalize controls to optimize efficiency and effectiveness
• Perform "test of design" and "test of operating effectiveness" examinations
• Utilize ERP systems to streamline business operations and improve workflow
• Resolve audit findings by implementing corrective actions and preventative measures
• Ensure all audit-related documentation is accurate and up-to-date
• Use Archer to manage and track audit-related tasks
• Cultivate an understanding of COBIT (Control Objectives for Information and Related Technologies)
• Ensure the company's compliance with financial regulations
