The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including month-end close processes, balance sheet reconciliations, and journal entries. The role offers a contract employment opportunity and requires strong collaboration skills and a comprehensive understanding of GAAP accounting.Responsibilities:• Conduct month-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting• Perform balance sheet reconciliations to guarantee the accuracy of financial data• Prepare and post closing journal entries to maintain accurate financial records• Conduct variance analyses to identify discrepancies and propose corrective actions• Handle ad hoc reporting tasks as needed, providing key insights for decision-making• Manage warranty accruals to ensure appropriate financial provisions are made• Utilize SAP software for efficient and reliable financial data management• Ensure compliance with GAAP Accounting principles in all accounting operations• Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with SOX - Sarbanes-Oxley requirements• Utilize BlackLine tool for efficient account reconciliation and financial close management• Perform inventory analysis and reconciliation to maintain accurate inventory records.
