Position Title: Risk/Insurance Paralegal
Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Risk/Insurance Paralegal to join our team. This role encompasses a variety of tasks significantly focused on insurance and risk management. The candidate will have prior administrative experience with a clear understanding of the insurance sector. You should also possess excellent critical thinking skills, excel in high-volume environments, and have an ability to act as a mediator and problem-solver.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in high-volume, insurance and risk management related tasks.
- Handle administrative responsibilities using Excel, our online platform eCerts, and other administrative platforms.
- Manage and maintain accuracy of certificates of insurance.
- Use critical thinking to determine who to contact for specific issues.
- Coordinate data transfer between different systems - this is not limited to just data entry.
- Serve as a mediator to resolve issues and meet organizational needs.
Key Qualifications:
- Excellent administrative skills, with focus on using Excel and online platforms.
- Prior experience or knowledge of the insurance world, with a focus on insurance certificates.
- Ability to handle high-volume workloads.
- Excellent critical thinking skills with the ability to discern who to contact for specific issues.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to mediate issues effectively.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
