Robert Half is looking for an Information Technology Specialist to support local and field users in a growing company. To be successful in this role, you should be a creative problem solver who enjoys working in a dynamic and rapidly-changing work environment. They will participate in global incident support, infrastructure projects and act as the local security liaison.This role requires an understanding of Microsoft Windows desktop & server operating systems, mobile/handheld devices, MFA, virtual infrastructure, active directory, backups, networking equipment, wireless APs, physical IT security and asset management. An important aspect of this role is the focus on the deployment of secure modern office workplace solutions and implement global standards within the office and production area.Day-to-Day Activities Provides end user support including new installations, troubleshooting software and hardware problems, software support for MS Office Suite, various Engineering and Manufacturing apps, general support and troubleshooting.Prioritizing incoming IT ServiceDesk Incidents. Use service model based on ITIL foundations.Drive modern office technology adoption with a focus on making our environment more secure – Client Operating System, mobile & office configuration, and deployments.Responsible for managing local servers, applications, and storage systems. Daily evaluation of offsite backup.Provides support for hardware configuration and maintenance including installing new equipment, upgrading existing equipment and doing general maintenance.Physically assisting with moving/setting up production line and user’s workspace - PC, cell phone, monitor, handhelds, and printers.Onboard new Team member account and equipment set up for Knowledge and Front-Line Workers.Terminations and data preservation.Participate in supporting/upgrading infrastructure solutions.Act as local primary point of contact for security and issue response.
