Robert Half has partnered with a client in the Non-Profit industry seeking an Administrative Assistant. The role requires managing various case functions related to the HCV/Section 8 program, as well as maintaining effective relationships with landlords and participants in support of program operations. This role also includes providing superior customer service and dealing with participant and landlord issues. Located in New Orleans, Louisiana, this is a short-term contract to full time opportunity. Responsibilities: • Cooperate with other team members in the Voucher Administration group, and adjust workload accordingly• Investigate and resolve participant and landlord complaints professionally and efficiently• Communicate effectively with applicants, participants, landlords/owners, and co-workers• Respond to resident and landlord inquiries, providing information on rent status, damage claims, property inspections, lease and contract provisions, program regulations, and Housing Authority policies• Ensure timely processing of information received through mail, fax, or email for participant files• Submit monthly performance reports as required• Provide clients with information on policies and procedures within the scope of authority• Maintain absolute confidentiality of work-related issues• Perform other duties as assigned
