Description
We are seeking a talented Google Cloud Platform Engineer to join our team and play a key role in designing, deploying, and managing critical applications and infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform). This exciting project is open to remote candidates.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and deploy secure and scalable cloud-based solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
Manage and provision cloud infrastructure using Google Cloud Platform services like Compute Engine, Security and IAM, App Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, and Cloud Functions.
Automate infrastructure deployments and configurations using infrastructure as code (IaC) tools.
Implement and maintain robust security practices to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of cloud resources.
Monitor and optimize cloud resource utilization for cost-effectiveness.
Identify and troubleshoot cloud-related issues and implement solutions to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with developers, operations teams, and other stakeholders to ensure successful cloud adoption.
Stay up-to-date on the latest Google Cloud Platform technologies and best practices.
Qualifications:
Proven experience designing, deploying, and managing cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
Strong understanding of cloud architecture concepts, including scalability, fault tolerance, and high availability.
Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash or Python.
Working knowledge of Linux administration.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
