Our client in Castro Valley is seeking an interim Finance Manager to support the organization on a part-time bases, approximately 8 hours per week. Ideally the work would be performed at the client site. This role involves overseeing financial management tasks such as budgeting, audit preparation, and year-end close activities. The Finance Manager will also be responsible for managing reporting duties and working with different stakeholders to provide monthly financials. Expected pay for this role is $80-$90/hr. Responsibilities:• Oversee the work of accounting clerk, reviewing general ledger entries.• Manage the preparation and presentation of monthly financial reports, such as revenue/expense reports, cash flow statements, and check disbursement reports.• Coordinate with external auditors, ensuring all documentation is provided as required.• Guide the organization through year-end close procedures.• Provide strategic input on budgeting, financial statement preparation, and management reporting.• Ensure timely and accurate filing of reports for state controllers, ACFR (former CAFR), and bond filings.• Collaborate with different leaders within the organization to meet financial objectives.• Monitor and manage federal government reporting procedures.• Oversee special projects related to financial management as required.• Utilize ERP software for efficient financial management.
